Solid and liquid substances are frequently used on this website. Examples are Ethanol, Formaldehyde, Glutaraldehyde, Osmium tetraoxide and so on.
Usually the processing of these substances is not harmless and deserves attention. In order to be able to assess the 'danger' of these substances and to see what you can do to work safely with them, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment has developed an app in which most substances can be searched for quickly and easily. Quote: The Stoffencheck app provides information about working with certain substances: what the risks are, whether you can get sick of them and what measures are needed to work safely. For example, an explanation is given of the pictograms on the packaging. It also explains what H- and P-phrases mean, what the limit values of substances are, which ten substances are the most dangerous and what you can do yourself to reduce the risks.
The app is available for free in the App Store and Google Play Store. Search for 'Stoffencheck'.
Start the App and go to: "Where can I find more information?"
Start the 'Gestis database' and search for your substance
